My $3,000 a Month Making Money Online Challenge

Making money online is not easy. I know other Pinoy bloggers have done it, got featured in the news and are instant celebrities.  The good thing is, they made more money after that.  The sad fact is here we are still trailing from behind.  Time to make a change…

OK, here is the challenge and this is for me.  If I manage to get $3,000 per month from my online activities, then I can probably think twice about my corporate job but not really ready to quit at this point.  Probably at $5,000 per month.

Today marks the start of my next challenge – US$100 per day challenge – coming from online advertising clicks from Google Adsense – 30 days X $100 = $3,000. Not bad eh?

Don’t get me wrong. I am no SEO or SEM expert.  Far from that but getting nearer each time.  I am still learning along the way.  I only know how to build wordpress blog.  Fast at that. My strategy is to build quality content – useful at that – for my readers.

[ad]No black hat SEO.  No nonsense. My websites should be helpful and search engine friendly.  I will only build topics that of high interest to me (taking into consideration high paying keywords).

Forcing myself to commitment is the key to reaching my goals.  Right now, I am making an easy $4 per day average on my websites.  My goal then was to reach $100 per month.  Now lets up the ante and try to reach $100 per day.  Now that is more exciting than measly $4 per night.  Only $96 to go to reach my goal.

But when? Has to be time-bound right?

Wait, is this a SMART goal?

Specific – YES, get paid online from $4 per day to $100 per day.

Measurable – YES – $3,000 per month

Attainable – YES – Some people have done this – easy.

Relevant – YES – for you and for me.  If I can do it, you can do it.

Time-Bound – Ahhh, this one needs to be fixed.

OK, I would say 6 months from now as I am very busy with my corporate stuff.  Should be 3 months but I think that would not be realistic so… (alibis blah blah).

Oh well, so now I have announced to the whole world what I am in.  Hopefully, no one is reading…
