How Will Ricky Hatton Beat Manny Pacquiao?

The Hatton-Pacquiao odds are changing daily.  This is the million dollar question.  Will Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton beat the Mexicutioner Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao?  Or will Pacquiao beat Hatton?

I can’t help but react on a post at BettingChoice.co.uk that Hatton will beat Pacquiao and even will knock him down sometime in the fight.  I was raging. I was angry by the thought of it.

Here is an excerpt that I cannot accept from this site:

“My prediction for the fight is this: Hatton to come out with a very strong 1st and 2nd round, Pacquiao will win the 3rd as he moves inside a bit more. Hatton will be anticipating this and will switch gears in the 4th. He’ll be moving around the ring a lot more and making Pacquiao chase him. Manny has solid hand-speed, but Hatton hits the body better. Pacquiao will be knocked down in the 6th, but will be right back up. Manny will win the 7th and 8th round, but the ninth round is the money round in this bout. I can see either Pacquiao losing via TKO in the 9th. The 10-12th rounds will be very tight if we get there and I think if we do see the fight go past 10 rounds, Hatton will be on course for a points win”

Personally, I think that this is not possible.  With all the gruesome an hard fights Manny has been through, he cannot be defeated that easily.  With his last fight where he is not even showing his full force against Dela Hoya, Pacman will not likely be knocked down that easily.

The Hitman may be good but he will not have it easy with the Pacman.  Manny has the discipline of a true fighter, while Hatton was being scolded even by the legendary Mayweather Sr.

So how in the world will Ricky Hatton beat Manny Pacquiao that easily (and knock him down)?
