Bangis ng Top 3 Billionaires of the World According to Forbes

Forbes Magazine has released their list of the top billionaires in the world.  But interestingly, many of the top billionaires last year have became poorer just like most of us.  There are 1,125 billionaires last year compared to only 793 now.  The total loss combined is $1.4 trillion.  Of course, I wish that sum of money went to my pocket.  But if not with me, where will it go?

Anyway, the are losers and winners in this years top 10 billionaires.  Most of these guys are not spared of the financial crises that befell us.

Bill Gates regained the number 1 spot this year with $40B worth in his pocket although he lost a total of $18B due to the decline in stock value of Microsoft.  Trailing just a bit lower at 2nd place is my favorite, Warren Buffet, who still has $37 despite losing $25B this year as the share of Berkshire Hathaway fell nearly 50% in 12 months.  And finally on the 3rd place is Mexican telecom king Carlos Slim Helú also lost $25 billion and dropped one spot to No. 3 with $35B still in his wallet.  These 3 billionaires alone lost $68B last year!

I wonder where all those money went.  I am pretty sure they got stuck somewhere.  Maybe with the terrorists???
